About Tree Surveys

Tree Surveys was established in 2007 as an arboricultural consultancy.

We provide arboriculture consultancy and tree care management advice to domestic and commercial clients.  Tree Surveys is a sister company of Setanta Tree Care one of Dublin's leading tree care and tree surgery service providers.

Tree Surveys consists of an experienced and qualified team of experts with the professional and practical expertise to advise on all aspects of arboriculture and tree care, including as an expert witness in legal cases.

Mirka Kelly

Arboricultural Consultant & Landscape Architect

Mirka is a qualified Landscape Architect and holds a Masters in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry from the University of Lancashire, UK.

Mirka has a strong interest in plants and a consuming passion in tree conservation especially in the urban landscape.

She has 15 years experience working in urban landscaping and arboriculture consultancy, specialising in Tree Surveys, Arboriculture Impact Statements for domestic and commercial clients.  Mirka also acts as an expert witness consultant  in the cases involving trees.

Neil Motherway

Arbiriculture Consultant & Manager of Setanta Tree Care

Neil has a National Diploma in Arboriculture and a Masters Degree in Psychology.

Has over 25 years experience working in all aspects of tree care in Ireland, U.K and Europe. Neil is the manager of Tree Surveys sister company Setanta Tree Care,

Neil led Setanta Tree Care to become Ireland's first independent company to achieve the standard of approved contractor by the Arboriculture Association (UK).

Neil's knowledge and expertise in the practical and technical aspects of tree care make him an invaluable member of the Tree Surveys team.
